
Disclosure Statement
We provide credit improvement
and/or repair services for clients of A-1 Credit . The information in this disclosure statement is for your
records. As a Credit Service Organization as defined by TX
Bus. & Com. Code Ann. 18.01 et seq., we are required to
obtain a surety bond. We have obtained a bond, and as a client
of the Company, you may have a right to proceed against the
bond in accordance with section 18.03 of the above-mentioned
code. The bond has been issued by Gramercy Insurance company,
7616 LBJ Freeway, Suite 720, Dallas, TX 75251. As a client,
you have the right to review any file maintained by a consumer
reporting agency, as provided by the Fair Credit Reporting Act
(15 U.S.C. Sec. 1681 et seq.). Said file is available for
review during regular business hours at no charge upon request
made to the Company within 30 days after receipt of notice
that credit has been denied,and the file is available for a
minimal charge at any other time. Client has a right to
dispute directly with the consumer reporting agency the
completeness or accuracy of any item contained in a file on
the Client maintained by that consumer reporting agency.
Accurate information cannot be permanently removed from the
files of a consumer reporting agency. According to Title
VI-Provisions Relating to Credit Reporting Agencies, Section
605 Obsolete Information is information: (a) Except as
authorized under subsection (b), no consumer reporting agency
may make any consumer report containing any of the following
items of information: 1. Cases under Title11 of the United
States Code or under the Bankruptcy Act that, from the date of
entry of the order for relief or the date of adjudication, as
the case may be, antedate the report by more than 10 years. 2.
Suits and judgments which, from date of entry, antedate the
report by more than seven years or until the governing statute
of limitations has expired, whichever is longer period. 3.
Paid tax liens which, from date of payment, antedate the
report by more than seven years. 4. Accounts placed for
collection or charged to profit and loss which antedate the
report by more than seven years. 5. Records of arrest,
indictments, or conviction of crime which, from date of
disposition, release, or parole, antedate the report by more
than seven years. 6. Any other adverse item of information
which antedates the report by more than seven years. (b) The
provisions of subsection (a) are not applicable in the case of
any consumer credit report to be in connection with: 1. A
credit transaction involving, or which may reasonably be
expected to involve, a principal amount of $50,000 or more; 2.
The underwriting of life insurance involving, or which may
reasonably be expected to involve, a face amount of $50,000 or
more; or 3. The employment of any individual at an annual
salary which equals, or which may reasonably be expected to
equal $20,000 or more.

non-profit community service agency) is available to provide free
